Roger Federer continues his streak into the semifinals of the Australian Open 2010 as he defeated Davydenko in a series of close matches 2-6,6-3, 6-0, 7-5 to advanced into the semifinals. Roger Federer fans were tense when he was behind one set and 1-3 in the opening of the second set but came back to pull of the set. It was crucial for Federer and Davedenko to win the second set that the battle was so furious.

Federer is looking at the Austrialian Open Semifinals again but this time without his rivals Rafael Nadal and Andy Roddick. It will be Federers 23rd straight semifinals. The Australian Open will be great place for him to get his 16th Grand Slam.
