The National Football League is still the hottest sports in the United States that all the fans are waiting each week for the 2009 NFL Power Rankings. With Tom Brady on the quarterback for the Patriots, most of the 2009 NFL Power Rankings are giving the edge on the Patriots as No. 1 instead of the defending champion Pittsburgh Steelers.

Surely, this page will I show you the 2009 NFL Power Rankings from Week 1 to Week 16. I will also give you the seeding of the Playoffs. At the start of the season I have my own 2009 NFL Power Rankings. This NFL Power Rankings 2009 will be updated each week. To all the NFL Lovers out there, here is my Pre-Season 2009 NFL Power Rankings. I will be updating this page each week, make sure you bookmark it and come back here any time you want.

1. New England Patriots
With the inclusion of Tom Brady on the line up, it is certain that the Patriots are the favorite to win again. Patriots still has the solid defense that can eliminate other’s teams offense.

2. Pittsburgh Steelers

I am ranking the defending champion behind the Patriots. Ben Roethlisberger will always be a solid quarterback but the Steelers defense will always be their asset.

3. Indiana Colts
Even without their prime receiver Marvin Harrison, with Peyton Manning the Colts will always be a contender. Their offense can still be unstoppable.

4. New York Giants
I am placing here the New York Giants. This time the Giants know that there is no Plaxico Burress and that they are ready to play well without him. The Eli Manning factor is crucial.

5. Arizona Cardinals
Kurt Warner is still a great quarterback. Wherever he leads, so does the team goes.

6. Philadelphia Eagles
The Eagles is still the team to reckon with but let us see how their defense will play out with the passing of Jim Johnson.

7. Atlanta Falcons
Matt Ryan is a reliable quarterback. We know that he can bring this team into the playoffs again.

8. New Orleans Saints
Their offense is one of the best but they hired Gregg Williams as their defensive coordinator. Will this a SuperBowl team again?
